Bimetal Insulation Pins are manufactured out of aluminum weld stud with a metal pin. the pin is available in stainless steel, low carbon steel copper coated or galvanized coated. the standard pin diameter is 3mm. They are designed as a weld insulation pin to secure insulation blankets or boards to metal heating and air conditioning ducts, ovens, tanks and other hot or cold equipments.

Bimetal pins have an aluminum weld base designed to be welded to thin gauge aluminum sheet metal using the CD welding process, but also can be welded with the short cycle ARC weld process on thicker aluminum plate.

The self locking washers(Speed fixed washers) for Bimetal insulation pins are available in a variety of sizes, shapes and materials.
